What are good (inexpensive) gifts to buy for your Secret Santa office gifts?
As luck would have it this year, I pulled someone’s name in our office (I work in a very large office) whom I do not know. They work in a department that I have absolutely no contact with and I don’t know anyone else in the department I could ask what this person might like. They want us to keep the gift(s) under $15.00. Other than lottery tickets, mugs (no one needs or wants another mug), what are some good suggestions on what to get a stranger (female)? Please don’t suggest candy because I personally am allergic to chocolate so I wouldn’t give that as a gift in case someone else has the same allergy.
Maybe a bankcard (with $15 on it) so they can use it to get what they want (it would be great for them to buy lunch or coffee in the a.m. on their way to work). Going with that same thinking, maybe a Dunkin’ Donuts (or other large coffee/donut shop in your area, ie. Tim Hortons, Starbucks, etc.). That’s what I’m getting my secret santa. Even if they’re not a coffee drinker, these places offer so much more than that.
I know personally I hate getting little trinkets, I have enough junk at home and work that I don’t really need those snowman salt & pepper shakers!
Merry Christmas!
