What are ways man has applied space program discoveries to everyday life?
At one time an artificial citrus drink (TANG) made for astronauts was marketed to the public. It wasn’t exactly bad, but It didn’t taste anything like orange juice. It was marketed as “the drink of astronauts” and for a while it sold reasonably because of that marketing pitch. It was used by Gemini astronauts, but the Apollo astronauts wanted something better. The stuff is still sold, but with a new formulation. If it werent for the space program, we wouldn’t have TANG. 50 Billion dollars well spent
